K5TAL Net Report for 30 Jan 2018

The K5TAL Post 1992 Wednesday Net was opened on 3.815 at 1830 CST (0030 Z). There was a thorough discussion about major appliance replacements for every participating member in the past 2 years. It seems that everyone has had to replace more than 1 appliance. The band and frequency were in good shape, and a total of 14 members participated. 9 on HF, and 5 on VHF. The net was closed at 1850 (0050Z).

Announcements: Members were referred to www.legion.org/hamradio for net listings and times. Mentioned was WEBSDR.org for a listing of available web radios for listing to the frequencies. I was reminded by KE8GKY to have the net frequency that is posted on legion.org/hamradiochanged to reflect our operating frequency of 3.815.
