District 9 Meeting

District 9 Meeting held at Bert Harpham Post 72 - 2046 Highway 95, Council, Idaho

8:00-9:00 am - Registration - coffee and pastries
9:30-10:00 am - Joint Opening of Legion and Auxiliary
10:00-11:30 am - Legion members meet at Legion Hall
Auxiliary members meet at Branding Iron Restaurant - 103 Illinois Ave, Council

During the Legion meeting we will need to discuss and vote on the feasibility of changing the quorum number from five Posts to three Posts with regards to voting and/or conducting business during District 9 Meetings. It will be necessary to have a minimum of five District 9 Posts in attendance at this meeting in order to conduct a vote on this matter or any other business that comes up, so it is imperative that you make an effort to be there.
This is also the time when we hold our annual election of District 9 Officers, so we really need you there to vote your preference on the officers to run the District for another year.
Another prime reason to attend is that we will have several of our Department Officers present at the meeting and they will have information to tell us about what is happening in the Department and at National level. Typically these meetings only go until about noon, so please make a concerted effort to come out and participate.
