1. Three reasons to come to the District 1 meeting:
a. Education opportunities. No matter how experienced you are with the American Legion everyone can learn something new.
b. Networking with the Legion Family. Meetings provide a great opportunity to help each other uncover ideas and spark inspiration when they get to know each other on a personal level.
c. Have fun. Being in the American Legion Family should be rewarding and fun. Never underestimate the power of a little fun mixed in with interesting people.

2. Legion Family: Please ensure that you invite your Auxiliary, Sons of the Legionnaires and Legion Riders to the meeting. They are all part of our family. All Junior members are also welcome.

3. Post Reports: Please send me your post reports so I can create a “report book” for all of the posts to have. If you are unable to do that please bring it to the meeting. We are going to limit the time for Post Reports.

Sincerely, Dee Sasse
District 1 Commander,
