Outreach and membership efforts headed to California

American Legion national staff will team up with Department of California Legionnaires for a pair of district revitalization and membership outreach efforts next week.

• City of Industry – The effort will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 16-17 at La Puente American Legion Post 75, 16157 E. Gale Ave., City of Industry. A veterans service officer will be available both days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs claims and other veterans benefits questions.

• San Joaquin Valley – The effort will take place from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. March 22 and 23, and 9 a.m.-noon March 24 at the Veterans Memorial Building, 609 W. Center St. Visalia. A county veterans service officer will be available both days to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs claims and other veterans benefits questions.
