The American Legion Department of Puerto Rico and national staff are providing membership and benefits training as part of a district revitalization scheduled for April 9-12 in two locations.
On April 9, a membership and veterans benefits workshop will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at department headquarters, located in the Las Lomas Professional Center at the corner of Jesus T. Piñero Avenue and San Patricio Avenue in San Juan. A veterans outreach effort also will take place at department headquarters from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 10-11.
An addittional effort will happen from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. April 12 at Caguas Post # 2, Carr 1 Antigua via Bairoala 25, Caguas, P.R.
A veterans service officer will be available to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related issues and other veteras benefits assistance.
