Twin Bridges Veterans Memorial Wall

Twin Bridges Veterans Memorial Wall

We built and maintain a Veterans memorial in town. We dedicated three new plaques recognizing all Veterans from the Spanish American War to WWI buried with in our local cemeteries. The main memorial consists of two 10’ X 6’ steal walls painted black and mounted on high metal posts. A white picket fence with archway adorns the front along the sidewalk on main street. On each wall are informative name plates for each local veteran. These informative plates give the vets name, rank, time frame of service and any outstanding achievement of that vet. This memorial gives a historical view of the commitment of local veterans with times in service ranging from the Spanish American War to present day. By building this memorial in our community we feel we have shown great respect to all vets and try to convey this respect throughout our communities. Our local school children painted the storage building at our memorial.
