North Union Veterans Memorial

North Union Veterans Memorial

Honors all honorably discharged veterans, past and present, who were born, lived or died in the current North Union School District area. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 870 and American Legion Post 40 led the way in getting the project done. It took over 5 years and nearly $100,000. New veteran bricks are added every year in the "Circle of Honor". After it's completion, the Village of Richwood assumed "ownership" of the area. The submitter of the memorial is the curator who works with the village to maintain it.
