Soldiers Monument

Soldiers Monument

The monument was erected for the memory of those in the area who fought in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and the Civil War. The monument sits in the middle of the Village of Caledonia, NY at the intersection of State Routs 5 and 36 and US 20. It had one record of threat against it in 2005. An artist tried to have a war protest on it. The local veterans groups fought and won not allowing the protest. The monument was rededicated in the year 2000.
