Hayward 9/11 Memorial

The memorial was designed and built to remember and honor the heroes and victims of 9/11. It is also a Veterans Memorial with a list of 164 Hayward resident's engraved names, branch of service and the conflict of those killed in action (KIA) from the Spanish-American War to the present. In addition, the names, and date of death, of the Police Officers and Firefighters who died in the line of duty for the city and citizens of Hayward are also listed.
