"Lady Jeannette - Dual Congressional Medal Of Honor B-17G Sn:42-97904B-17G

Excellent - engraved letters repainted in 2015. The "Lady Jeannette" crashed in the Bois de Hattonville, Department of the Meuse, France on 9 November, 1944. The two pilots, 1st Lt. Donald J. Gott and 2nd Lt. William E. Metzger, Jr. were both awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor for their heroism that day. The two men, their radio operator and their tail gunner died during the crash. A full description of what happened is present, along with all the required information for future historians to research the event.
