WWI Doughboy Statue

The life-size statue depicts a World War One American Doughboy. He wears a helmet and boots and carries his rifle with a bayonet in both hands. His right foot rests on a rock. The monument is atop an marble base, with an inscription honoring the members of company E of the 11th Infantry (the Goldsboro Rifles) who died in WWI.
