No headstone. I am requesting veterans social security no. or service no.,and date of birth. The information I have on Hodge so far is that, his date of death is February 22, 1918. Branch of service: 308th infantry, U. S. Army. Highest rank achieved: private First Class, Soldier-Stevedore, Camp Stuart, Newport News, Virginia. The reason for this request is to get an overdue headstone for a WWI veteran. A letter of recommendation to the Department of Veterans Affairs will be helpful.
