World War II Monument

The monument is located on the Clinton (New York) Village Green. It is maintained by the Village of Clinton. A wreath is placed by the monument during the annual Memorial Day ceremony by representatives of the Helmuth-Ingalls American Legion Post 232 and the Schilling-Burns-Young Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9591 in Clinton. The purpose of this monument is inscribed on the stone: “In loving memory of our 29 war dead from the Town of Kirkland, World War II 1941-1945. May they rest in peace.”
