Lebanon-Grenada-Panama-Persian Gulf Monument

The monument is located on the Clinton Village Green in New York. It is maintained by the Village of Clinton. A wreath is placed by the monument during the annual Memorial Day ceremony by representatives of the Helmuth-Ingalls American Legion Post 232 and the Schilling-Burns-Young Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9591 in Clinton. The purpose of this monument is inscribed on the stone: “This memorial is dedicated to those brave Americans from the Town of Kirkland who served their country in the Armed Forces during the conflicts in Lebanon and Grenada, August 24, 1982-July 31, 1984, and in Panama, December 20, 1989- January 31, 1990.”
