Any individual who has resided in Franklin Park, Illinois and served in any branch of the military is eligible to have his or her name listed on the memorial. There are pillars for each branch of the service. There is a pillar listing Franklin Park residents that served war time service from the Spanish-American War to the Vietnam War, this same pillar describes the dates that these wars were declared and ended.
