Honor Roll style memorial encompassing an entire city block with its own parking lot. Black granite, lighted with flags of all of the armed services, along with the flags of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania & Old Glory. There are the names of over 3,800 veterans honored encompassing the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm. There are over 1,000 names listed from WWII which is an incredible number for a town in which the 1940 Census counted 13,780 people. Among the names of the WW II vets is Donora native and baseball legend, Stan " The Man " Musial, of the Saint Louis Cardinals. The Civil War panel had a " Sarah J. Yoders" listed.
