Civil War Soldier on pedestal. In memory of the soldiers of the war 1861-1865 and the Spanish American War 1898. Rededicated August 16, 2003 by Ross Reid Post 9 Auxiliary, Disabled American Veterans Carry On Chapter 17, and Oelwein Historical Society to include WW I, WW II, Korea and Vietnam.
