Veterans' Monument

Veterans' Monument

The Veterans' Monument consists of three pieces of matched, polished granite topped with a 51 pound solid bronze American Eagle. All five military logos are sand blasted into the vertical section, front and back. It sits on the Courthouse Green in a place of honor. It is the seed of thought sown by American Legion Post 215 Goochland's Louis "Doc" Parrish, Jack Peters, Charles Binford, Floyd Callihan, Joseph DeMattos, Walter Marsh, and Earl Truett. The Monument stands as a recognition of the sacrifices of America's veterans of all wars.
