Desiderio Memorial Park

Small park originally containing a WW II artillery gun and a 1950s era US Army ballistic missile. In 1993, it was repurposed into a memorial to Clairton native Captain Reginald Desiderio US Army a posthumous winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor killed in the line of duty and all other Korean War veterans. The rocket and gun are still in place.
