New Jersey Gold Star Family Monument

Located on the grounds of the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, the Gold Star Family Monument is a monument honoring the sacrifices of those families who have a lost a loved one in defense of our country. On the outside edge of the circular plaza are two benches facing the center monument. On one bench is a man, a veteran himself and probably a gold star father. On the other bench is a young woman with a folded flag on her lap and child held tightly by her side. Engraved pavers surround the center five sided bronze & black granite pedestal.
