Purple Heart Memorial

Dedicated in 2010 to the recipients of the nation's oldest military decoration "The Purple Heart." The monument is made of red granite with a facsimile of the Purple Heart decoration on the front. Inscribed on the front of the monument: My stone is red for the blood they shed. The medal I bear is my country's way to show they care. If I could be seen by all mankind maybe peace will come in my lifetime.
