Boyden Area Veterans Memorial
Three granite stones are set in a semicircle with two viewing benches. The center stone is engraved with the name of the memorial, a dedication, the flag and medallions, the names of the 11 Boyden, Iowa area servicemen killed in action and a Bible verse: "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friend. John 15:13". The outer stones are engraved with the names of all "veterans from the Boyden area who through service and sacrifice have helped preserve our freedom".
