Little known grave of Civil War veteran PVT Samuel D Morrison. E-Co, 113th Regt, 12th Pennsylvania Calvary, Army of the Shenandoah, Union Army. Battle of 2nd Manassas, Antietam Campaign, Battle of Winchester and stationed at Charleston, West Virginia until the end of the war. This veteran passed away not too long after coming home and is buried alongside a child that was a relative. They are the only two remaining burials from before the Kinzua Dam construction flooded the valley and towns.

The site is located about 9 miles north of Kane, PA on Route 321. It is alongside the road with a small parking area right off the road. Route 321 Kane, PA 16735
