Texas Panhandle War Memorial

Texas Panhandle War Memorial

The citizens of the Texas Panhandle pay tribute through this memorial to all veterans, living and deceased, who served our country with honor and dignity. Located in the Randall County Veterans Park, the memorial honors veterans who served during the Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf War, Grenada, Somalia, Kosovo, Panama, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. A circular garden is planted with red, white and blue flowers punctuated by large granite monoliths describing each war and conflict as well as tablets with the names of those lost. Additionally there is a monument to those who served and were lost from West Texas A&M University.
