Quebec Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Melocheville

Quebec Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Melocheville

A two-acre lot with 5 flag poles (Canadian, American, Quebec, CVVQ Association, POWMIA). In front of these, a center monument dedicated to the Vietnam Veterans and a monument of the Vietnam map with the war dates. A bench is located in front of these monuments and behind this bench there is a flag representing the country of Vietnam. In each of the 4 corners of the plot, there is a bench donated by different organizations. On July 12, 2019, we are adding a granite stone monument with engraved names of the 146 Canadians killed in the Vietnam war while serving in the US Forces. These names are already on the Washington Memorial.
