Mellette County Veterans
Three giant slabs are mounted on a cement wall. Middle slab has picture of USS South Dakota and the dedication under the photo. The two side slabs have names and era of service of county veterans who lost their lives while in service. Behind the wall are seven flagpoles with the American flag, the POW flag, and five service flags. On the ground are bricks that list the names, era of service, and branch of service.
