Homestead Veterans Parklet

Small public park located at the southern end of the Homestead Grays Bridge (formerly the Homestead High Level Bridge). There are two monuments. One is a World War I honor roll consisting of a large block of rough granite with four bronze tablets containing the names of military personnel from Homestead, Pennsylvania who served in World War I. It was moved from another site to the current location. The other is a block of black reflective granite recognizing all fighting men of World War II. Commissioned by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 373.
