Braddock Hills Veterans Memorial

Originally a World War I honor roll, it has been expanded to include World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Particularly noteworthy is a flat black granite panel honoring resident Leonard A.Funk, Jr. Sgt. Funk, served in Company C., 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, and 82nd Airborne Division and was awarded the Medal of Honor for actions against the Nazi German Army at Holzheim, Belgium on January 29,1945 in the closing days of the Battle of the Bulge.
