David A. Wieger Soccer Field

Reflective black granite monument with benches and flagpoles honoring North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania resident, U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David A. Wieger. Sgt. Wieger was a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigation. On November 1, 2007 Wieger's Humvee was destroyed by an IED near Balad Air Force Base in Iraq. He was returning from a mission when he was killed. Wieger was a star soccer player in high school and played on the field named in his honor.
