Barclay Square Veterans Memorials

Barclay Square Veterans Memorials

Public park on the main Street of the town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. There are two veterans monuments in the park - one honoring local veterans who served in World War II, the other a Gold Star Honor Roll with the names of the 10 citizens of Punxsutawney who gave their lives in the Vietnam War. Additionally, there are three huge muzzle-loading cannon at the park entrance. The park is adjacent to the Punxsutawney Municipal Complex, where Punxsutawney Phil, the famed weather groundhog, has a luxury burrow.
