IUP Vietnam Veterans Memorial

IUP Vietnam Veterans Memorial

Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) was the first college or university in the nation to have a Vietnam veterans memorial. Due to construction on campus, the monument was moved to a new location in front of the ROTC building. The re-dedication occurred on Nov. 11, 2022. Spearheading the project were the IUP Veterans Club and the Department of Military Science. IUP has one of the largest ROTC programs in America, celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2021. It is routinely considered one of the top ROTC programs in the United States.
