Sarah Bestudik

Corporal, U.S. Marine Corps during World War II - served in the Division of Marine Casualties at Arlington, Va. Sally stated that she was fortunate to never encounter a casualty who was known to her during her time in the division. She learned to fly a Piper Cub under the GI Bill after the war. Sally was a member of American Legion Post 32. She rests with fellow Marines and Armed Services members at Camp Butler National Cemetery, where military honors were provided by the Department of Defense at the time of her burial. Semper Fi!
