Carolyn Kiernan

Carolyn L. Kiernan

(nee Kaim), 83, lifelong resident of Rochelle Park, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Carolyn met the love of her life, Frank, at Saint Cecilia High School in Englewood, N.J., and together they shared a love story for the ages. She started each day with a cup of coffee and the New York Times crossword puzzle. She enjoyed time with her family in LBI doing jigsaw puzzles with her grandchildren, slots in Atlantic City and game shows in which she knew every answer. Before retiring Carolyn worked for many years with her husband at H&E Telephone Credit Union in Rochelle Park. She was a member of the American Legion Post 170 Auxiliary and a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in Rochelle Park. Carolyn and Frank only disagreed on one thing: her undying love for the New York Yankees and his for the Mets. She was lucky in life and love and her legacy will live on for generations to come.
