John Paul Kaale

John Paul was born Dec. 5, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minn.; and went to meet Jesus, his Savior, on Sept. 2, 2013 at his home in Lexington, Tenn. John was a fun-loving, compassionate, and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight, and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church and American Legion Post 77 in Lexington, and was a 32nd Degree Mason of Blue Springs Masonic Lodge, Blue Springs, Mo. John loved serving America. He remained in the National Guard for many years following his service in the Navy. He enjoyed serving on the Post 77 Honor Guard in several differing roles, as well as reading The Thirteen Folds of The American Flag for our local schools' patriotism programs. John was serving as post chaplain at the time of his death. He and his wife worked for the Henderson County (Tenn.) Election Commission for two years. John is survived by his wife of 17 years, two sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren and a brother. John Paul will be greatly missed.
