George H. Richardson

George H. Richardson, 82, of Stover, Mo., died Nov. 18, 2015, in Kansas City, Missouri. He spent more than eight years in the U. S. Marine Corps, counterintelligence, having served in the Korean War, and 10 years as a police officer in California. He retired from the Kansas City Star after 16 years as a security supervisor. Survivors are children Teresa Greeley (Kim), Dale Richardson, Sheryl Burris, and Ginny McCoy; his brother, Donald Richardson (Pat); 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Jackie, in 1989. George was a NASCAR fanatic, loved to play cards and fish. When living down at the Lake of the Ozarks, he spent five years on the fire department board, worked as a breakfast cook, cook and bartender, and loved working and meeting people.
