Joseph Peter Colla

Joseph Colla, a longtime Merchant Marine, passed away on Dec. 7, 2015, after medical complications. Born in San Francisco on March 21, 1929, at his passing he was 86. The stories we were told of shipping out at 14 were many. Though his short-term memory had failed, he still was capable - with clarity - of tales of all the work he had done on the ships and the places he had seen.
