John J. Taylor

John "Jack" Taylor, 87, of Paramus, formerly of Saddle Brook, ended his journey on earth Saturday, June 10, 2017. He was a major builder in the Bergen County area and then became a produce farmer. Before retiring, John was a proprietor for Joy's Farm. He was a 17-year member of American Legion Post 170 and a past member of the Free Masons. He was a CB in the Navy and stationed in Cuba building Guantanamo Bay. John was also on USS Norton Sound during his station. He enjoyed gardening since the age of 8, hunting in his free time, and loved animals and candy. He was an avid Yankees hater. His Navy days were some of his happiest years. He was a humble person who never wanted a fuss made over him, and was very kind and generous.
Cherished husband of Arlene (nee Tabor). Beloved father of Susan M. Taylor of Bangor, Pa., James S. Taylor and his wife Michele of Bangor, Caroline Taylor and Kenneth Molos of Lodi, N.J. Dear brother-in-law of Jack Tabor and his wife Carol and Emil Tabor and his wife Diane. Also survived by his loving cat Angel and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family. Particularly his caregiver, Lucie Diaz, and his Breakfast Club, Paul Patti and Bumpsy Diamond.
