Jerry L. Johnson

CTI1 Jerry Lynn Johnson, U.S. Navy retired, 73, formerly of Greeneville, passed away on Aug. 1, 2017. He is survived by his wife Virginia of 38 years, his sons Jerry and Andrew, two grandchildren, Jerry and Clara, his sisters Alice, Linda and Cathy and his brother James, along with nieces and nephews. Jerry served in the Navy as an Arabic/Russian linguist from 1963 to 1987; he also worked for PG County Homeland Security from 1988 to 2010. Jerry was a wonderful father, musician and most of all a caring person. Jerry is being brought home to rest beside his father in his beloved Tennessee.
