James Flaherty

James, 83, of Hackensack, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018. Before retiring, James worked for IBEW Local 164, Paramus. He was a member of American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park. James was a Navy veteran who served our country proudly.
Cherished husband of Elizabeth (nee Kuzmiak). Loving father of the late Mary Ford (2017), James T. Flaherty and his wife Karen, and John W. Flaherty. Beloved grandfather of Joseph Ford, Jessica Ford, James Flaherty Jr. and his wife Kelly, and Christen Cochran and her husband Calab. Adored great-grandfather of Connor, Channing and Charlie.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug, 1, 2018 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Private cremation.
