Kenneth R. Cahill

Kenneth R. Cahill (8/15/1925 - 7/28/2018). Son of Joseph Cahill Sr. and Grace (nee Ruding), brother to Joseph Jr. (Buddy) of Jersey City and Donald of North Bergen, all deceased. Devoted husband to wife, Jean (nee Poplepchak), also deceased. Survived by loving daughter Lynn Statile and her husband, Bob, of Naples, Fla.; and daughter Jean of Rochelle Park.
Ken joined the Navy after high school and served in the Pacific as a radioman on a minesweeper during WWII. After the war he was a bartender in his father's tavern in Jersey City, had owned a liquor/deli with his brother Donald in West New York, then an Arnold Bread route. He enjoyed watching the NY Giants and horse racing.
