Richard R. Dellasso

My husband, Richard, and I were married for 38 years....were together 47 years. He was an awesome, funny, sweet man. He had a heart of gold. He was an incredible father, husband, brother, son and friend. He was my best friend and I am forever grateful for the time we had together. He served in Vietnam from 1969 through 1970. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he continued to fight like he fought for his country. He died on Aug. 6, 2015, from small cell carcinoma of the lungs determined to be as a result of Agent Orange. I am so proud of him and his service. There are no words to describe the void in my life. He loved his family and people, loved bowling, loved pool, loved gambling and loved his beer. He had a love for life that was bigger than him. His beautiful children, Elaina and Richard, miss him so much. He was always the life of the party and always had words of wisdom to share. He has grandchildren...Carmela Rose, Richard Jermome, Amatea and Neveah. How blessed I have been to have this wonderful man for almost my entire adult life. Rest in peace my sweet Richard. I will always love you.
