Don Trapp

Dear Richland American Legion Post 548 Family,

It is with heavy heart that I share with you that Don Trapp, member (10 consecutive years) of Richland American Legion Post 548 (Bakerstown, Pa.), passed away on 11 June 2020. Don, a Korean War combat veteran, was also the “trumpeter” for the post honor guard, volunteered two days a week at the Butler VA, and delivered meals one day a week with the Glade Run Church “Meals-on-Wheels” program.

Don was a nominee for the Pennsylvania American Legion Hospital Volunteer of the Year Award (2020).

The entire Richland Post 548 family extends both our sympathies and prayers to his family.
