Ralph Parra Jr.

My father was a proud U.S. Army soldier who served his country for 21 years. He was proud of his time in the service and shared his love of this country with me. He served two tours in Vietnam and received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He lost many friends in country and he tried to live his life the best he could for them. He was a wonderful father and husband. He has many friends that loved him very much. He was thankful for the time he served and he loved being part of the military community in San Antonio (Military City). We as a family will miss him and we will continue to honor him. He was a member of American Legion Post 345 in Austin.
