James William Flowers

On April 5, 2020, we lost a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather due to major health complications. He passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was a great man and he was loved by many of his family and friends and comrades. He was always helping anyone who needed help and playing bingo at the VFW in Rolla until he moved to Jefferson City, Mo., to be closer to his family. He always craved the food from the Legion hall and I would drive up there to get him a plate and bring it home. He was a member of American Legion Post 5 in Jefferson City. We will miss him very dearly, and not a day goes by without wishing he was still here. He always had good stories or jokes. Love you always.
