Roland Jay Kellogg

Roland Jay Kellogg, retired tool & die maker at the Coleman Company, passed away at home after battling cancer for over two years. Roland was the last surviving son of David Warner “Stuart” Kellogg and Norma May (Thomas) Kellogg. He is preceded in death by both parents, and all three brothers. He was born in Salineville, Ohio, on Sept. 23, 1948, was a graduate of Southern Local High School in Salineville, and served in the U.S. Navy aboard USS Kitty Hawk during Vietnam. He lived the past 44 years in the Wichita, Kan., area and is survived by a son, Tim Kellogg (wife Karla), daughter Melissa Kellogg and four grandchildren: Shawn Collins, Michael Collins, Sidney Collins and Elizabeth Kellogg. He was a member of American Legion Post 58 in Topeka, Kan. In lieu of burial, his children and grandchildren will be scattering his ashes in an area of Wyoming he was particularly fond of.
