Robert Conforti

Robert Conforti, 78, of Maywood passed away on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021, surrounded by family. Robert owned Cesa's Hardware in Maywood, a staple of the community for over 25 years, before taking a position at Ricciardi Brothers Paint in Lodi. He was a sergeant in the Army, serving our country proudly during the Korean War. Robert was a faithful member of American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park. He was an avid gardener and loved trips to Aruba, but nothing compared to the passion and devotion he had for his family. Beloved husband of 55 years to Patricia Conforti (nee Henderson). Devoted father of Michele (Gregory) DeLucia, Christine (Steven) Perkins, Karen (Joshua Miller) Conforti, Susan (Carmelo) DeMaio. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Brittany, Nicole, James, Jessica, Jack and Giovanni. Predeceased by his sister Carol Scanella. Dear uncle, cousin and brother-in-laws. Best friend of 50 years, Phil (Kathie) Pisano.
