Ronald H. Brown

Ronald H. Brown

Ronald H. Brown was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force right out of high school. He went to boot camp and was stationed in several different places. He was sent over to Okinawa and worked as a jet engine mechanic. He never went into Vietnam because he was taking care of the B-52s that needed to fly over Vietnam.
When Ronald was discharged, he went back to his job at Ingersoll Rand and they gave him back his time, as he had started working there during high school as a maintenance journeyman machine repairman.
Ronald joined The American Legion at William Bloys (Tempe, Ariz.) Post 2. He rose up the ranks to commander of Post 2. Ronald also got involved with District 12 and held offices there.
