What special "mass meeting" does Post 64 in Massachusetts keep mementos of?

According to the post's page on the Centennial Celebration website: “On June 23, 1919, a meeting was held at the Peirce Building in Middleboro to organize an American Legion post and apply for a charter. The newspaper article from the Middleboro Gazette and the handwritten minutes of that first meeting are shown, along with the window poster promoting attendance by veterans to attend.”

Also pictured on the page are original posters from the post’s 1920 fundraising efforts toward a permanent post home, which they stayed in until 2011.
