Hotchkiss Gun

The Hotchkiss gun was a heavy machine gun used mainly by the French Army in World War I. Mounted on a tripod and belt-fed, the Hotchkiss gun had a maximum effective range of 3,800 meters (just a little over two miles) but was most practical at 600 meters. It was even occasionally used as an anti-aircraft weapon.
