Russian bounties, Vanessa Guillen and PETA vs. Air Force

In this week’s episode of Tango Alpha Lima, The American Legion’s podcast, our co-hosts return to discuss a range of the hottest stories of interest to the military community.

Co-host Mark Seavey, Jeff Daly and Ashley Gorbulja-Maldonado first discuss the politicization of reports of Russia placing bounties on American servicemembers in Afghanistan.

Later, Gorbulja-Maldonado addresses the “Invisible War” and her own experiences with military sexual trauma as it relates to the aftermath of the Vanessa Guillen murder. “It’s uncomfortable but we have to talk about it,” Gorbulja-Maldonado says. “I am hopeful that there will be justice for this young woman.”

Among lighter topics the group also discusses the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ demand that the U.S. Air Force to release its new falcon.
